So excited to be able to pick up one of her books, as I’ve been eyeing them off for some time in the local bookstore. What a read – capturing characters and conflict so well, you’re shaking the drops of water and sand from the pages as you read!

It was awesome! Delightfully different in a way that had me holding out finishing it, simply because it was so enjoyable.
Whereas before I could almost guess where everything is going, the last couple of books have had a refreshing and tiny twist. Enjoyable, utterly human, with giggle out loud moments!
It’s cosy, and it’s fun! A market village that finds itself the centerpiece of macabre sacrificial murders and a mixed up, slightly kooky and nosy main character, returning to the familial home, where all is changing .
How good is it to see a main kid’s character called Tanya!
She’s not perfect, but neither is the world she lives in … She sees fairies, but she’s not allowed to say a word. No-one’s life would be in danger if the grown-ups had just stopped keeping secrets from her!
What a cracker! Gritty, unforgiving, and … a masterful new world! I want more…
When you’d rather not see what is in front of you, what are you capable of believing? Capturing a small, isolated and insular community beautifully, it’s a brilliant story; easy to read and and, unfortunately, easy to imagine.
Not necessarily an impossible crime, but certainly improbable. It’s my first foray into Ellery and I was certainly … bemused! Loved the fact that I had all the information and still couldn’t work it out!
Absolutely brilliant – wonderful story, beautifully told and with a touch of classic sass that has me wanting more!
Delightfully told, this is far more than just a cosy crime. It will have you guessing in circles!
