Easy to read, but not light and fluffy, a gorgeously told tale of living with secrets that shouldn’t be yours to keep, and the consequences.

It’s a winding, elegant and emotional journey with a really big hug at the end … and a twist 😉 “Heartwarming” just doesn’t do it justice!
Slow to kick off, then BANG! And you’re away again in the most incredible imaginative world with unerring parallel similarities and characteristics to our society. Highly recommended for all Grott Monsters!
A classic, and infuriating tale as the suspects dissemble and the Inspector never seems to get the answers he is seeking. However Ghote is dogmatic, and unrelenting, and the answers will find him, in the most roundabout of ways!
It took me two goes, to get into it, and when I did, it raced along! Complicated, twisty and such a immersive tale, I’ll be reading on!
Always fascinating, this time Su Lin has been coerced in to helping the new Japanese powers in return for her Uncle’s life. Her world has changed under the occupation, but not her practical and observant manner!
I just love his style of writing. This seems far more serious than the Baby Ganesh series, but it’s a different world, and a different time, and equally an enjoyable read!
A modern Picnic at Hanging Rock…? It seems unfair to compare this tale as it stands on it’s own; drawing the reader in to the twisted secrets of a small town and the selfish machinations of social media obsessed girls. Perfect for the wet and wild windy weather, delightfully creepy, especially when you think you’ve got it all sorted out!
It’s as though Eddie has sat next to you on a bench seat at the park and is telling you a story. Heartfelt and beautiful, it’s simplicity will wake the wonder.
A fantastic adventure for young readers where when you’re twelve, you’re old enough to work and take on the responsibilities of being an adult… And that includes escape for the benefit of all!
