Quirky, crazy and incredibly odd – its the apocalypse as I never thought I knew it. Brilliant!

Really enjoying this NZ cime series. Sam is incredibly human without being stereotyped, and the small town shenanigans are bang on perfect!
Oh this is such a gorgeous read, and while it’s a fictional town, if you’re from the area you’ll recognise quite a bit. Fantastic characters, woven expertly together. A warm read and gives great satisfaction at the end.
One event to bring old friends back, but which is the better story, how the friendship was forged or what has happened since. Just a delight to read from start to end!
I remember The Archers from the radio, growing up, and this is a wonderful, toe-dip into that nostalgia. A lovely, comfy read.
It’s fraught with emotion and some power-packed adventuring, and the weaving of the old gods into a modern world is masterful.
I think we need to hear more about Abigail – this was fantastic!
Of course with all the adult books about cruises and mysteries – there had to be a kid’s one as well. Beautifully done!
Kind of leaves a funny taste in your mouth. Wonderfully horrid.
Creepy, twisty, indelibly atmospheric. This will give you chills.
