Of course with all the adult books about cruises and mysteries – there had to be a kid’s one as well. Beautifully done!

I’m a big Elly Griffiths fan, so when this arrived how could I resist? More great characters, interesting everyday characters and a wonderfully odd murder mystery.
This is a wonderful, light, and not always so breezey, series.
It’s a classic for a very good reason – but that also means; take your time, savour the language and don’t be impatient!
Too many books about murders on cruises, I enjoyed it but didn’t really do it justice, so I’ll pick it up for a reread later!

What is it about Librarians and spooky old houses that make for such wonderful mysteries? Didn’t fall in love with the characters but the mystery held me.
