Love this series. Understated and with wonderful characters that make the old fashioned investigation a remarkable read.
Took me a little to get into it, but a lot of fun! Good neighbours and bad, secrets abound, and Myrtle is determined to get to the very bottom of everything!

I’ve not ever heard the Archers series, but I know it by reputation and now having read the novel – I’m desperate to hear more about them.
Take your time and wallow in the landscape and story, it’s bittersweet and beautiful.
I had trouble getting into it – but once in, wow! Vivid and compelling!
