What a brilliant book. I laughed, I sniggered, I adored it! Jane Austen meets Pirates of the Caribbean. Can’t wait to read on!

Love this series. Understated and with wonderful characters that make the old fashioned investigation a remarkable read.

Took me a little to get into it, but a lot of fun! Good neighbours and bad, secrets abound, and Myrtle is determined to get to the very bottom of everything!

Wonderfully written, and compelling start to finish with intrigue, that will make you forget the world around you.

A great story, enjoyable for those who don’t even know the intricacies of Brunswick and Melbourne. A few laugh out laoud moments, and compelling characters make for a cracking read.

Oh I LOVE Vera and Shetland – but I also do love a great standalone, and this will have you hooked!

A spectacular mix of fantasy, magic, regency and the struggles for independence in a society that rebukes them.

I’ve not ever heard the Archers series, but I know it by reputation and now having read the novel – I’m desperate to hear more about them.

Take your time and wallow in the landscape and story, it’s bittersweet and beautiful.

I had trouble getting into it – but once in, wow! Vivid and compelling!
